Tour Itinerary :
DAY 01 : JAKARTA - UJUNG KULON
You will be picked up at Hotel Jakarta is around 5 am by our representative, then we drive to the border of Ujung Kulon National Park by private car, breakfast and coffee break will be served at the local restaurant, and after we have had breakfast, we drive to the border of Ujung Kulon National Park where we will set up for jungle camp at Mt. Honje area ( not to the peak ) Key Species : White-breasted Babbler, Grey-cheeked Tit Babbler, Javan-Black capped Babbler, Chestnut-capped Babbler, Javan Owlet, Banded Broadbill (Javan), Javan frogmouth, Black-banded barbet, (Javan) Yellow-throated hanging parrot, ( Javan) streaky-breasted spiderhunter, Javan Sunbird, and Javan kingfisher. And also we expect to see the beautiful Orange-breasted trogon, Black-naped monarch, Scaly-crowned babbler, Large wren babbler, Horsfield’s babbler, Temminck’s babbler, Olive-winged bulbul, Black-headed bulbul, Ruby-throated bulbul, Banded kingfisher, Small minivet, Crimson sunbird, Ruby –cheeked sunbird, Little spiderhunter, Orange-breasted flowerpecker, Crimson breasted flowerpecker, Artic warbler, Dark-throated oriole, and maybe Black-and crimson oriole, Blyth’s paradise flycatcher, and Maroon breasted philentoma. Night birding will have great experience where we will look for Javan frogmouth, Oriental-bay owl, Sunda scop owl, Barred eagle owl, Reddish scop owl, and Spotted wood owl.)
DAY 02 - 03 : UJUNG KULON
Early breakfast will be served at the base camp, then we will look for some birds which missed in the previous day. And after lunch we trek back to the border where we will bird photography in the hide in the afternoon and we expect to see Javan banded pitta, Java black capped babbler, Horsfield’s babbler, Banded kingfisher, Rufous-backed dwarf kingfisher, Stork-billed kingfisher, Rudy kingfisher, Javan kingfisher, Cerulean kingfisher, Pin-striped tit babbler, Laced woodpecker, Common flameback, sunda pygmy woodpecker, freckle-breasted woodpecker, Fork tailed drongo cuckoo, Ashy drongo, Javan munia, Scaly-breasted munia, White-headed munia, Banded broadbill, Yellow-eared barbet, Black –banded barbet, Greey-rumped treeswift, Crested serpent eagle. Check in at Homestay or at ranger post. Night birding is available.)
DAY 04 : UJUNG KULON
Early breakfast will be served at Homestay or at the ranger house, and after breakfast, we look for key birds in Ujung Kulon which missed in the previous day, Javan Banded Pitta, Javan Owlet, Javan Frogmouth, Javan Forktail, Javan babbler/ White-Breasted Babbler, Javan Black Capped Babbler, Javan Kingfisher, Javan Blue –Banded Kingfisher, Javan hawk eagle, Javan sunbird, Javan tit babbler/Grey-cheeked tit babbler, Javan plover , Javan bulbul, Javan leafbird, Small blue kingfisher, Chestnut-Capped Babbler, Streaky-Breasted ( Javan) Spiderhunter, Yellow-Throated Hanging Parrot, Black-Banded Barbet, Brown-throated barbet, Zebra woodpecker, Olive-backed tailorbird, Bar -winged prinia, Scarlet- headed flowerpecker, Green Peafowl. Then after lunch, we drive back to Jakarta hotel or to Jakarta international airport. End of Birding Tour.
